ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Work in the NOPdepartment - work as one down to Head NOP to manage all the department work.

To furtherdevelop the Cankids Access to care Models for implementation at the fieldlevel.

To coordinate,liaise with all the regional management teams in all 4 regions and stateprojects and program teams in HQ.

 

Access to Care Models-

1.       CankidsHospital Support Unit (CHSU) Projects - it partnerswith the childhood cancer treating centres and hospital administrations,providing dedicated manpower, social support services, building capacities,promoting and conducting research and filling whatever gaps need to befilled each year to enable families who reach the centre to get beststandards of treatment care and support.  Beginning with 4 treatingcentres in 2004, today it partners and works with 105 childhood cancer treatingcentres across the country. 

2.       Changefor Childhood Cancer (CCC) States Project itworks with all relevant stakeholders including State Governments to ensure thatfamilies get best access to care – through appropriate knowledge of where togo, timely diagnosis and treatment, shared care and continuity of care,awareness and access to care information and resources.  A State by Statefocus helps in looking at epidemiology, mapping out centres treating childhoodcancer, systematically building a network of access to care and support,creating awareness and advocating for childhood cancer control plans, policiesand programs to State Governments.  The 14 States where Change for ChildhoodCancer projects has been initiated are Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu & UTPuducherry, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi NCR, Punjab & UT Chandigarh,Maharashtra, Goa, North East, Gujarat, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Kerala Karnataka andthe North East. 

 KEYDELIVERABLES:

 

A.       Coordination for NOP work

1.         Coordination with the Planning Committee for approvals andcompletion of NOP files.

2.         Weekly NOP Core team meeting arrangements with Chairman’s office.

3.         Weekly NOP Coordination meetings –

                                 i.            To liaise with all the departments/ programs for their agenda.

                               ii.            Set up the weekly meetings

                             iii.            Conduct the NOP meetings

                             iv.            Write and circulate the minutes to all everyone as needed.

4.         Work with both DGM NOP for PAN India coordination for events likeSeptember Awareness, ICCD etc.

 

B.      Capacity and Skill Building

 

1.       Identifycapacity building needs/ opportunities

2.       Coordinate& envision with concerned stakeholders (Individual, Dept, Organization,other)

3.       Plan, document& get permission for agreed CSB intervention

4.       Document finaloutcome & provide detailed report (Narrative & financial)

5.       The role wouldrange from providing basic logistical support in case of some specifictechnical workshop planned by a department with NOP.

 

C.       Management Information System for field level Access to CareDatabase (CHSU/ States)

1.       Create all the new set up files for NOP

2.       Update all the records- MoUs, annual reports, visit reports in thefiles.

3.       Coordinate with regional teams for the same.

4.       In absence of Head NOP in HQ – to coordinate with Chairman’soffice for approvals as and when needed with DGM NOP

5.       Managing the database for the projects with regular updates andensuring the quality of the data on Salesforce (vCAN)

6.       Timely reporting of all the required reports to the Head NOP andmanagement.

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Education:
MPH, MHA, MSW with health background 

Experience:
5+ yrs experience of project management (preferably health), Government laisioning

Skills & Competencies:

        People Skills: team management 

        Process Management: Follow systems and processes 

        Change Management: Dynamic, flexible, results-oriented withleadership qualities.

        Experience in Project management, community outreach, CSB of healthcare workers, donor management, report writing and project implementation

        Proficiency in report writing and documentation

        Multitasking
